(EN) PALAIS BULLES is an editorial photo-collage project inspired by Le Palais Bulles, an emblematic Mediterranean villa formerly owned by Pierre Cardin. Created using photographs of the site sourced online, the project examines access to a private and inaccessible space. It offers a reading of a place that exists between reality and projection, whose perception is entirely shaped by its representations. I developed the project in its entirety, from the visual identity and collage work to the printing and hand-binding of the book, accompanied by silkscreen-printed posters. The art direction, grounded in black and white with a strong emphasis on grain and materiality, explores a relationship to place built exclusively through images and the imaginary they evoke.
